Poor frozen ducks

Posted on December 6th, 2008 in Uncategorized | No Comments »

This afternoon mummy decided to crack on with painting the doors so daddy and I went to the park to feed the ducks, when we got there the pond was frozen in places and there was so many ducks to feed we ran out of bread. Daddy felt sorry for the poor little ducks so we went to the shop and got some more bread. When we got back to the pond the nasty geese turned up, daddy gave them some bread but they al got out the pond and stood around us so we walked off to the other end of the pond and found the ducks , they looked really happy that we came back! The Swans are too slow to catch the bread before the ducks so they try to eat the ducks instead! Daddy said we should bring them some pancakes and hoy sin sauce, not sure what he means?

Well we found out yesterday but today was his first full day there. He’s gone to live on a farm as a house dog cos they think he’s too lazy to be a working dog! Granny said the kennels said they were really nice people so I hope they love him as much as we do and take good care of him. Bye Charlie, we miss you, but I bet you don’t miss me now I can really crawl about and climb!
