We like sunny days

Posted on June 12th, 2009 in Uncategorized | No Comments »

Oh what a good day! Daddy didn’t go to work today and the sun was shining! We went to a new park this morning for a little walk, a play and to feed the ducks. They were quite friendly..

After working up an appetite we went out for lunch. I had garlic tomato bread, sweetcorn and a satsuma. Mummy and daddy had some other stuff I didn’t much like the look of. No surprises who fell alseep on the way home, but a big surprise that while I slept mummy finally got round to painting the front fence and daddy cleaned BOTH cars! Wow, not like them to be busy while I sleep. After my nap we went to Tescos, had some tea and a little play in the garden – what a busy day, I’m one worn out little boy zzzzzzz

Check out my new seat!

Lazy day

Posted on June 11th, 2009 in Uncategorized | 1 Comment »

Today mummy says we’re having a lazy day, it’s 10.30, time for Igglepiggle, and I’ve still got my jamas on! We’ve been quite busy the last couple of days, we’ve been swimming, shopping, to the beach, for lots of walks, fed the ducks, alsorts… no wonder mummy is tired, and we’ve got colds – hope they go for holidays.
This morning mummy has shown me how to climb on and off my lion and car. I’ve had a good game of shapes in my car that Granny and Grandad gave me for christmas and now I’m having a sit on it watching the Tombliboos!

Busy afternoon

What a busy day! This morning we waited in for the postman who was late and didn’t even bring the parcel we weare waiting for! All we got to do was boring housework and a little walk to the end of the road and back, but mummy made up for it in the afternoon. We went to try out a new playgroup. It was a nice building and they had a big garden and lots of toys, but there were only 3 other people there. I had quite a good time chasing 2 older boys and said hello to a baby girl but she was quite boring. Good job it was a nice day and we could play outside because there wasn’t much room indoors. Not sure we’ll bother with that one again.
After playgroup we went to feed the ducks. I liked going without my pushchair because I got to sit on the step with mummy and eat bread with the ducks. There are still lots of babies and I saw them all when I walked all the way round the lake. I didn’t get to have a nap until gone 4 today and I wasn’t really tired then I only went to give mummy a chance to make some nice tea for me to refuse to eat!

Keep up Mummy!

Abandoned and tortured

Posted on June 7th, 2009 in Uncategorized | No Comments »

Mummy and daddy abandoned me last night with my dinner and Aunty Angela to go and see some old men called Take That. As if that wasn’t bad enough, they made me sit through their photos and videos of it today! Although I did quite like the music and had a little boogie. (see their photos here)

We haven’t done much very exciting today, just shopping at Asda and then daddy and I needed some new shoes. We had a look in Brantano where I got my sandals from but they didn’t have any for either of us off we went to Clarks. Only one of my feet had grown half a size so I ended up with the same size as I already have but mummy said I needed some proper shoes with support, daddy didn’t look so sure when the lady said they were £28!!!! but his were even more so he couldn’t argue too much (and mine have bugs on!)

Mr Twisters and weigh in

Posted on June 5th, 2009 in Uncategorized | 1 Comment »

I’ve had my 15 month check up today. They didn’t have anything interesting to say apart from apparently I’m too young for naughty steps or reward charts to stop me biting! Never!! All they wanted to know about was did I still have a dummy and bottle and had I had my mmr yet – well obvioulsy, I’m not a baby am I???? Silly woman. At least she brought her scales along so I got a weigh in and I am now a whopping 26lb 10oz!
The weather has been rubbish all day mummy took me to Mr Twisters for a run round. I had a whale of a time, mainly running round squealing but I also did quite a bit climbing on bits I was too scared of before and had a big boy land on my head at the bottom of a slide – ouch! Mummy says hopefully I’m worn out now cos I seem to had loads more energy now I can walk.

Worn my little legs off

Posted on June 4th, 2009 in Uncategorized | No Comments »

I think mummy is trying to wear my legs down today. We went for a little stroll to see the cars this morning and I nearly had a heart attack when an ambulance went passed with its siren on. Then before tea I walked all the way round the school field block without holding hands and only got tired and asked for a carry at next door but one’s house. We were trying out my new backpack and lead, Gusdog will be really jealous when he sees it!

Worn out

I’ve been very busy practicing my walking again today. Mummy and daddy took me to the park so I had lots of space to be free. We saw some ducks and rabbits lazing in the sun, lots of dogs, then I had a bit of a slide and swing but the big news is I’m walking all by myself (with a few fall downs but getting better!)
After all that effort I’m worn out, but at least I’m not in the dog house like daddy for only taking ONE photo and a rubbish video that makes it look like all I did was fall down!

The problem with being able to walk…

…. is you need to buy shoes! Today we went to buy some summer shoes for me to take on my holidays since my Thomas jelly’s are still a little too big (no matter how much daddy try’s to make them fit) I have been walking lots today even though I have spent most of the day in a grump because I didn’t really want to sleep last night and kept everyone awake.
