Another sunny day

Posted on August 6th, 2009 in Uncategorized | No Comments »

Mummy took me to the beach today and I had a great time running through all the puddles. I did get a little bit bit wet when I tripped over so decided I might as well rest my little legs and have a sit down. Mummy said I looked like the creature from the deep by the time it was time to leave and she wouldn’t let me in her car without stripping me down to my vest – good job there were no girls about! I wasn’t even allowed to touch the floor until I’d had a bath either, crikey I’ll shrivel up if I have to sit in much more water!

I like it when the sun shines because I get to play with all my toys in the garden

Oh what a busy day

Mummy had us up and out and parked in town before the rest of the town even seemed to wake up. I got dragged round the usual shops before we went to meet Helen for breakfast at Lloyds. I had some nice toast and some of mummy’s beans and hash brown. Mummy and Helen both had a MASSIVE plateful of everything! Ryan’s friend’s mummy very inconsiderately had a baby last night so she couldn’t look after Ryan after his football club today so we agreed to go and get Ryan this afternoon. Mummy was quite pleased she could get on with her jobs while we boys played with all my toys. After tea Ryan and mummy made cakes. Ryan was very impressed that my mummy knew how to make blue icing! and I was very impressed that I had a friend to play with in the bath!

It’s not easy being this cute

Watch out for danger-grandad!

Posted on August 3rd, 2009 in Uncategorized | No Comments »

This morning mummy took me to the beach seeing as the sun was shining for a change. We went to nana and grandad’s to see if Jessica and Mathew wanted to come along too to wear me out, and Grandad had just had another accident – the garage door fell off on him. We weren’t sticking around to be part of the next disaster so headed off to the beach! Daddy couldn’t come so I hid lots of sand in my shorts and nappy for him to play with tonight (sorry dad noone was getting any of my ice-cream tho!)

Day out

Well our family day out didn’t get off to the best of starts when Grandad rang to ask daddy to take him to hospital because he’d hurt his arm last night. Poor Grandad has fractured his arm and the doctor only put it in a sling and told him to go back on Tuesday!

Well mummy and I got some jobs done and when daddy came back we were ready to go out to Durham. Mummy drove us to where her new college is and the park and ride she’s probably going to use, then we went in to the city. We have a nice lunch although daddy only noticed on the way out that it said kids eat free – doh! Then we had a nice walk through the shops and along the river which is right next to mummy’s new school. She’s very lucky there is an icecream van! Talking of lucky, daddy found a £20 note today in the street! Wow!

New fishies!

We decided to get all our jobs done today so tomorrow we can have a nice family day. We set off early (thanks to me getting mummy up at 6am, as usual!) went shopping after dinner we went to see nana and grandad then we had a drive over the headland to drive past the carnival only problem was I fell asleep before the main event of the day! On the way back mummy went to the pet shop to get some more fish for my fish tank. I had a really long sleep (mummy had a nap too) then after tea we took mummy down the town to go out with Helen for her leaving party. I was a really good boy for daddy and went to bed with out any crying or moaning!
