Well I had a really fun day yesterday playing with Jessica and Matthew but unfortunately mummy and daddy sussed me out at 3am that all that fun meant not much dinner at all… Mummy eventually got up and made me some milk and biscuits and we went back to bad at 5 so not too sure why she didn’t look too pleased to see me again at 7!

Well I must admit I was a bit tired and screamed the place down when mummy got the grass mowing monster out! After a good nap Thomas and me practiced our mountain goat skills and worked up a good appetite for tea.

Mummy and daddy went to the pictures today to see something called star trek, not sure what that is but i’m sure daddy will bore me with it when i’m old enough. I went to Jessica and Matthews house and we all went to see Nanna and Grandad. On the way home it chucked it down and everyone got wet except me! It keeps raining on and off loads lately, something called April showers but i’m sure it says May on the calender!

Today was Tylers 1st birthday and we all went to his house in Yarm for a BBQ. It was really good he had lots of toys for me to play with and there was lots of people for me to climb all over. I was enjoying climbing in and out of the door but then it started raining and we had to stay indoors. We had birthday cake after tea it was very nice!

I took mummy to baby babble this afternoon and guess what… My friend Isabel was covered in scabby spots! Her mummy said she had had measles…

Joseph our other little friend has started walking all by himself since we last saw him – show off! Isabel and me said it was cos he’s a little shortie and hasn’t got as far to fall as us. There were lots of bigger babies today and I wasn’t very happy about sharing toys at all.

Today mummy has had a good tidy round and moved some things out of the living room. I now only have 1 toy box in there and the fire guard has gone. I have been told im big enough to know to stay off it now, we will see cause it looks really good to play with Thomas on there!

Daddy wanted to go to the sea side today for a nice walk so we went to Saltburn. It was a nice sunny day but when we got there it was really windy! We walked along the pier and then went into the arcades to get warmed up again.

Once we had warmed through (putting 2p coin into slots seemed to help) we went for a walk along the prom but we didn’t get very far a i decided it was all just too much and it was time to head off for some dinner. On the way back daddy took us to the Sizzling pub then to the chinese supermarket for some yum yum dim sum!

I was allowed out today and feeling a bit better so we headed off to Stewart Park. There were lots of animals to see and feed. Mummy and daddy enjoyed feeding the deer, llama, goats, ducks and ducklings and spotting squirrels but obviously I was much more interested in spotting birds in the sky!

Mummy said my fever had just about gone today but she was beginning to get cabin fever (oh no I hope mummy isn’t going to be poorly too) so we went for a walk to the park to feed the ducks. Guess what? There were lots of baby ducks. Mummy says baby ducks are called ducklings but I prefer ‘baba’ but then again I call most things baba!

I still have a bad cough and runny nose. It kept me and daddy awake most of the night again but mummy was so tired she mostly slept through. Good job she got some sleep because I’ve keeping her on her toes trying to find things I’m prepared to eat! Still no spots to report!

oh dear I am not very well at all today. Last night I was coughing loads and when mummy and daddy cam up to bed i was really really hot. Daddy took my temperature and it was 38.8 deg C! Non of us got much sleep every time I fell asleep and went back in my cot I started coughing again and woke up again.

Mummy even took me downstairs to watch some Thomas but I was not interested. Daddy ended up on the sofa with me cuddled in till he had to go to work, I was fast asleep so he put me back in my cot but yep you guessed it I woke mummy up coughing again. Daddy had to come home and look after me till the doctors opened so mummy could get some sleep.

There was lots of people in the doctors and there was notices up about measles. My temperature has come back down to 37 deg C and I had stopped coughing so much. The doctor seemed to think I don’t have it but that I should come back on Thursday to have my MMR jab just to make sure. Mummy and daddy think I have all the symptoms of measles, I hope I haven’t but to make sure daddy has placed me under quarantine.
